Andrew Kohn packaging wins prestigious international award!
At the 2015 FTA (Flexographic Technical Association of USA) annual conference and award ceremony held in Nashville, Tennessee in May 2015 saw Andrew Kohn Pty Ltd receive a gold medal for technical excellence in flexographic printing for Steggles Grilled Chicken Breast Steak film.
With over 1600 domestic and international entries submitted and with only 38 gold medals awarded, this is an fantastic result for both Andrew Kohn and our client highlighting world best practice in both companies.
The judges’ comments on this submission included: “Really well done print. Savoury screens. Great tonal range. Made us break for lunch early!”

Andrew Kohn gets that golden feeling
The Print Team at Andrew Kohn produce stunning work at unparalleled levels of quality and consistency. That’s what our customers say. And while this is fantastic feedback for a commercial company, the real test of our printing prowess comes but once a year when our industry peers get to have their say. The 2015 Australia and New Zealand Flexographic Technical Association (ANZFTA) annual awards were held in October and once again drew a healthy number of entries – in Wide Web we were to be evaluated against 26 other entries. Once again, Andrew Kohn had a stunning evening at the awards taking home 2 Golds, a Silver and a Highly Commended in this hotly contested category! Adding further glitter to a night filled with superlatives, only two gold medals were awarded in our category of choice and Andrew Kohn won both of them.

This was a fantastic result for all at Andrew Kohn, not forgetting our pre-press, plates and ink partners. Added to our outstanding gold medal in America earlier in the year, 2015 will be remembered as a benchmark year filled with incredible highs and industry accolades.
